چکیده
In the present work, effectiveness of chlorophyll a fluorescence as quick tool to detect effect Pb–stress on Limbarda crithmoides and Helianthus annuus species, when exposed increasing Pb concentrations (0–500 µmol.L–1) for 45 days, was evaluated. The level in plant leaves, well fresh weight content shoots roots both were also determined. L. did not show any significant variation photochemical quenching parameters energy fluxes all despite change OJIP plot 100 µmol.L–1 Pb. addition, increase noted along with an biomass production. However, H. annuus, stress increased absorption, dissipation trapping decreased transport electron rate. curve showed notable modification at 300 500 Pb, without changes contents production under concentrations. Results revealed that accumulated accumulation more notorious treated plants. Lead exhibited different influence photosystem II performance thus, evaluation very efficacious reflect physiological status stress.

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Impact of Salinity Stress on Photochemical Efficiency of Photosystem II, Chlorophyll Content and Nutrient Elements of Nitere Bush (Nitraria schoberi L.) Plants
Salinity is one of major stresses which can severely limit plant production, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions. The present study was carried out to evaluate the impact of salinity stress on some physio-biochemical parameters in nitre bush plants (Nitraria schoberi). Thus, an experiment was carried out under natural conditions and salinity stress was induced by a combination of diffe...
متن کاملFluorescence and Photochemical Properties of Plants with Defective Photosystem II
Photosystem II, Low Temperature Fluorescence, Tobacco, Neottia The mykotrophic orchid Neottia nidus-avis does not evolve oxygen in the light but is able to perform photophosphorylation. The low temperature fluorescence emission spectrum lacks the 680 and 690 nm bands. Hence, the spectroscopic chlorophyll a forms which are attributed to photosystem II do not occur in plastids of this orchid. The...
متن کاملeffects of salt stress on photosystem ii of canola plant (barassica napus, l.) probing by chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements
the changes of chl a fluorescence induction curve in response to different salinity levels in canola (barassica napus, l.) plants were investigated. the canola seedlings were exposed to salt stress (100 mm and 200 mm nacl) for 7 days and chl a fluorescence induction kinetics was analysed. by using the ojip-test, various parameters like vj, area, n, φpo, φeo, ψo, rc/abs and piabs were calculated...
